Board recognizes realtor of the year, scholarship recipient

Joined by her mom Heidi Kearns of EJ Murphy Realty, Stephanie Kearns was presented with $2,640 in scholarship money during the Litchfield County Board of Realtors’ annual awards dinner Monday night at the Cornucopia in Torrington. Stephanie will graduate this spring as valedictorian of her class at Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village. She will attend Merrimack College in North Adams, Mass., this fall, where she intends to pursue a degree in civil engineering.
