Torrington rained out again
The Torrington Twisters were rained out for the seventh time this season Tuesday night in Manchester against the Silkworms.
Torrington was rained out 6 times in June, including the same game (opening night at North Adams) twice. The Twisters are scheduled to have a day off Wednesday. After Wednesday, Torrington is not scheduled to have another day off until July 14. That stretch includes a doubleheader on Saturday against Danbury and next Tuesday's exhibition game against the Dominican National Team.
The Twisters are scheduled to return to the field on Thursday in Pittsfield against the Dukes.
